Girinka program beneficiaries receiving cows
Vulnerable residents of Bigogwe sector in Nyabihu district have been given 13 cows in Girinka program to help them fight poverty and attain sustainable development.
The cows were donated by former Girinka beneficiaries in Nyabihu district as a way of showing their gratitude to the giver and helping their neighbors taste the benefits of having cows.
After receiving heifers from the former beneficiaries, the poor residents said they are going to take good care of the cows for the transformation of their social lives.
“Our living conditions will improve through manure and milk from the cows,” they added.
